This technique involves freezing the grapes before pressing them, obtaining a must with higher sugar content thus enhancing all the characteristic aromas and taste. Thanks to this, the wine will show a broader bouquet and a more rich and complex profile as a Verdicchio. The result is a superb wine, with exceptional ageing capability. It is a high-quality wine which evolves in time.
Even in the deep yellow colour, we see the manufacturing process. The Marika aromas are of intense fruits. The pallet is soft but full-bodied with a candied citrus finish. The fullness and the smoothness, strong points, will be its identity for a long, long time.
