Typical Sauvignon from New Zealand. It already starts with the color: subtle green. There is a lot to discover by smelling: characteristic gooseberries, fresh herbs and melon. The scents blow out of the glass. They all fight for attention. In the taste the wine is juicy and you can taste the green of celery, gooseberry, fresh grass, but also tropical fruits such as passion fruit and citrus. The long aftertaste shows that the wine is of good quality.
Food pairing:This Sauvignon is delicious with lunch or drinks. Amazing with an appetizer with shrimps and avocado. But also with Asian dishes with flavors such as lime, chili and coriander, and with Thai fish cakes. Or with a meal salad with chicken (with or without tropical fruit).
