Gipsy Gin has been developed and is produced in the oldest private distillery in The Netherlands which started production 1658, during the time of William of Orange. The juniper spirit was first drunk by the Dutch soldiers who drank it to give them courage before they went into battle. Soon after, gin was created in England when William became king of England, Scotland and Ireland.
