
First class tempranillo, medium red in colour, attractive nose of ripe black fruit, complex notes of cedar and smokiness, a touch of violet, elegant and pure in structure with soft tannins. Attractive wine.
The 2011 has been classified as 'excellent' by the Ribera del Duero Board.
Vinification: 6 months aging in exclusively French oak 'barriques'.
Food pairing: Lamb and veal dishes, not too strong game dishes (rabbit, poultry) and stews.
