Doba-Yej is as artesanal mezcal from Los Siete Misterios. This mezcal is made from espadín agave which is traditionally milled with a horse-drawn tahona, and distilled with a copper pot still rather than clay.
Tasting Note: Plenty of citrus, with lime and grapefruit peel. Balanced smoke throughout, with sweet spices, and some chili pepper heat.
